
We are a third-generation farming operation raising Polled Hereford Cattle. Our cattle are raised grass fed and on our small 100-acre farm.
TDS Farm is NC Beef Quality Assurance Certified, following all guidelines set out by the NC Cattleman’s Association for raising cattle.
TDS Farm beef is a mixture of Organic and Grass Fed Practices. At TDS Farm, we do not use growth enhancing antibiotics, added hormones or preservatives on the meat to increase shelf life.
Our beef is grown on grass and forages while being supplemented with small amounts of grain to develop a small degree of marbling to bring out the flavor and juices in the meat.
The small amount of grain we feed our steers is less than 1% of there body weight for a minimum of 60 days prior to slaughtering to ensure the beef is tender and full of flavor.
